Last year belonged to Cardiff’s Nico-obsessed Cate le Bon, and 2011 is shaping up to follow suit. Having spent most of 2009 touring with Super Fury Animal’s frontman, Gruff Rhys, 2010 was subsequently characterised by the success of her debut album, Me Oh My (an acoustic record of chamber pop laced with sparkling electronics), and appearances at SXSW, Glastonbury, Field Day and The Great Escape. This year Cate is studio-locked writing her sophomore effort.
