Artist Profile

I Blame Coco is Coco Sumner, the daughter of Sting, and the recent recipient of a six album deal with Island. We know what you must be thinking. (“Cripes! Another daughter of another pop-celeb!”). But you’d be wrong. Having spent the last 15 of her 19-years writing her debut LP, The Constant, Coco is no shooting star. Wrought with progressive song composition harking back to Duran Duran and riddled with references to Lord of the Flies, it floats around waiting to lift you up on synth clouds racing to drum machines, only to plunge you back down at the end with blissed-out melody. Don’t miss her at the Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury, Latitude, Secret Garden Party or Bestival.
