Fable has it that ‘Tribes’ got together in the summer of 2009 after the guitarist was caught trying to steal the drummer's wallet. Since then they’ve got drunk with Juliet Lewis, supported the Pixies, and done very well on both accounts. If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing them before, they have been boldly compared to Nirvana and T-Rex.
