London-born VV Brown creates soaring, glamorous pop that shows off her amazing, take-no-prisoners voice. Her musically inventive and impeccably danceable songs are a dizzying mix of 60s girl pop, indie disco and rock'n'roll. VV has confessed that many of the songs were inspired by heartbreak and hardship and written on a broken second-hand guitar, but you'd never guess from the glorious tunes. Debut album 'Travelling like the Light' is set to be quite frankly huge, so count yourself lucky if you get to see her at this summer's appearances at Secret Garden Party, T in the Park and Bestival.
