We Have Band used to work desk jobs at a big grey record label in London, dreaming of becoming the sort of stars they were working for – now it’s happened them. Last year they won Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition, playing four spots in as many days, thrusting their svelte David Byrne-meets-The Rapture, Saturday Night Fever-punk into the limelight. Continuing their festival success, this season they’re playing at the Big Chill Festival and Pukkelpop in the Netherlands. Even if you have to pawn your parents’ five-door estate for a ticket on the door, it’ll be money well spent.
