Field Day in east London’s Victoria Park is the city’s unofficial hipster biennale, placing it somewhere between fashion week, Glastonbury and Eastenders – just don’t expect Dot Cotton to take care of your dirty laundry afterwards. For the last 4 years, Field Day has attracted swathes of the best-dressed young-things with the finest taste in music to promising an unparalleled cut of the coolest bands on the planet. And this year is no different, featuring Wild Beasts, Ariel Pink, Ducktails, Jamie XX, James Blake, Spector, War Paint and Zola Jesus, as well as our very own Black Cab Sessions crew, providing exclusive video performances from the festival’s top names.
