Primavera, Barcelona, Spain, 26th-28th May, 2011
During early summer 2010, the UK’s indie population experienced a brief mass migration from these shores, leaving record shops fearing for vinyl their trade. Where did they go? Well, to Primavera to see Lee “Scratch” Perry, The xx, Marc Almond, The Drums and Florence and the Machine, obviously. Out of all the foreign destinations for music lovers available, Primavera is easily the best patronised by the British gig goer, and its not hard to see why, because this year they’ve booked Pulp, Animal Collective, Belle & Sebastian, John Cale & Band, Suicide, Swans and Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti. And there’s still more to come. Blimey.
Insider Tip: Okay, coming back and wearing your sunglasses day and night because you’ve had so much fun soaking up the Spanish sun that you want everyone to know about it, is understandable. But when you’re still wearing them under the Christmas tree, then you might want to reconsider.

Ray-Ban sunglasses are icons, representing over seventy years of authenticity and style in sunglasses. From Aviator sunglasses to Wayfarer sunglasses and beyond, Ray-Ban sunglasses make a cultural statement that has permeated worlds as disparate as Hollywood and the U.S. military. The message? Never hide. Be an independent thinker. The most fashionable thing you can be is yourself.
